HIGHTOPPS

Mares

Our small band of broodmares are superbly bred – either tracing back to the legendary ‘Wingrove Minkino’, or by the outstanding Welsh Section B sire Orielton Aristocrat and have been Champions in hand or under saddle.

A prolific winner under saddle as a lead rein pony regularly qualifying for RIHS and HOYS, 'Dolly' took to her debut season as a brood mare with style and produced the most superb foal in 2009, Hightopps China Town (by Longbourne I-Catcher).

It is with great sadness that we announce that 'Ivy' died foaling in 2007. She will be greatly missed - a pony in a million - She took my two eldest children safely from LR into FR classes winning numerous championships. She has left us with two beautiful sons, Hightopps Jazz (Foaled 2005), and our 'Orphan' Hightopps Hugo (Foaled 2007), who will be retained by the stud.
